SpaceX’s Grasshopper rocket prototype, designed to be reusable instead of burning up in the atmosphere, made a record-setting vertical takeoff and landing on October 7. This video, released by SpaceX on October 12, shows the Grasshopper in action, as seen from a single camera hexacopter which provides a unique view on the test flight as the rocket reaches a record 744 meters.
