US military investigators started questioning a former prisoner of war Wednesday to determine how he entered Taliban captivity, after a contested prisoner swap for his release.

A US Army investigator began formal questioning of Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, said an Army spokeswoman, Lieutenant Colonel Alayne Conway. (AFP)
