A Thai police officer stands next to Pakistani refugees who walk in line to a waiting bus after they were released from the immigration detention center in Bangkok, Thailand Monday, June 6, 2011. Thailand on Monday set free 96 refugees, all Pakistani nationals, after human rights activists convinced immigration authorities to let them stay free on bail instead of be kept in detention until being sent to third countries. Thailand normally detains illegal immigrants and refugees found in Bangkok, but the detention center is overcrowded and activists say conditions there are poor. less
