I am PC guy, but I love my IPAD. Because of Steve, I can sit on my couch in the early AM, drink my coffee and check my emails and more, not to mention watch videos in the middle of the night in my bed. RIP Steve

The humankind has lost one of her best innovators of all times. In only 34 years, from 1977 to 2011, he has successfully done a complete make over of information technology in terms of technicality, innovations, prototypes, designs, portability, availability and what not, so beautifully and with so much potential that, world has leaned forward to 100 more years. Bravo Steve. This loss would hardly be fulfilled in long times. :(

I disagree completely. Gadgets never advance society. Edison advanced society. Jobs just gave grown adults toys to play with, while opening up slave shops in china to do so.

@Mark, Actually, our technology evolution has brought such change to our lives bringing the human race to the quickest evolution of human kind ever. Jobs is most definately one of the pioneers in this race to techology inovation. And above his achievements and accomplishments in technology, his alternative life style and philosophies are very admirable and if only we can follow the way he lived so givingly with the upmost humanity. RIP SJ! SILICON VALLEY LOVES YOU! AND WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE YOU AS ONE OF OUR OWN!

I have a power supply memory (one millionaire piece mementos ) for the first new Apple Macintosh Desktop pc in 1984...which was designed for it. It was a tough job to satisfy the design

We have no doubt lost a Revolutionary. May the Good Lord rest Jobs' soul in eternal peace, for his mission on Earth is well accomplished.
