A 12-foot-tall statue of Colin Firth as Pride and Prejudice's Mr. Darcy was erected Monday in London's Serpentine lake, apparently to promote some new UK TV channel called Drama. The statue, which is made out of fiberglass and depicts the now-famous scene in which Firth emerges from a lake all wet and see-through-shirty, will apparently travel around England for awhile before finally settling into its permanent home in Lyme Park. Big Brother 15th season is already becoming one of the series' most talked-about after several of the housemates were overheard using racial and homophobic slurs during the program live feeds on CBS.com, causing some fans to start a petition-asking CBS to expel contestant Aaryn Gries. Aaryn negative-remarks-were-exposed to viewers, with-producers-choosing-to-air-an-entire-montage-of the-former-model's-worst-comments.
