This Feb. 20, 2012 photo shows a truck hauling trees from the Black Hills in South Dakota to a saw mill. Several trees are blue stained, a sign of a fungus introduced into the tree by the mountain pine beetle. The infiltration of the bug has left countless trees dead and tribal farmers with longstanding opposition to logging are helping to clear the infected trees in order to save the non-infected ones.
