This undated photo provided by the University of Texas at Austin shows the distal radius - a wrist bone - of Lucy, a fossil specimen of an early human ancestor, Australopithecus afarensis, undergoing computed tomographic scanning at the university in Austin, Texas. A new study based on an analysis of Lucy's fossil by the university suggests she died after falling from a tree. Several scientists, including Lucy’s discoverer, reject that she plunged to her death from a tree. (Marsha Miller/University of Texas at Austin via AP) less
