UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, kickstarted a new appeal for aid for Gaza on July 18, asking for $60m to respond to the “immediate shelter, food, health, and psycho-social needs” of Gazans affected by Israel’s ongoing offensive on the region. More than 22,000 people are reportedly sheltering in UNRWA schools across the Gaza Strip.

“UNRWA provides the displaced with food, water, mattresses and hygiene kits,” stated UNRWA. “It also provides them with health points, cleaning and quality control for drinking water.” Credit: YouTube/UNRWA
