This undated photo provided by the Illinois Department of Corrections shows Addolfo Davis, who was arrested when he was 14 and has spent two decades in prison after he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. An Illinois Supreme Court ruling Thursday, March 20, 2014, may mean Davis and more than 100 other inmates serving life sentences without parole may be released early from prison. In a 16-page opinion, it rules that a 2012 U.S. Supreme Court decision that struck down such sentences could be applied to inmates already behind bars.
