UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake visited a center for displaced families in the Syrian city of Homs, and said that recreation and education were crucial if Syrian children were to overcome the traumas of the conflict. “Little by little, we’re making progress, but it’s only little by little, so we’ll keep working on it,” said Lake. “I hope that the world comes to its senses, and that all the diplomats will agree to find compromises.” Credit: UNICEF less
