Top US nuclear negotiator Wendy Sherman said that Congress should halt their push for harsher sanctions on Iran to see if the nuclear talks “gain traction”. Sherman spoke to Voice of America’s Persian service exclusively on October 25, just weeks after telling a Senate committee that the US should be cautious in entering any nuclear deal because past experience with Iran showed “deception is part of the DNA”.
