A Tenn. native, Valerie June calls her sound "organic moonshine roots music," blending country, blues, gospel, soul and Appalachian folk. Her debut studio album is titled "Pushin' Against a Stone" and it's drawing rave reviews. Rolling Stone Magazine has it in their list of top albums of the year. June joined "CBS This Morning: Saturday" with the song "Workin' Woman Blues," off that album. less
