A view of the ongoing construction of the National Stadium in Brasilia, Brazil, Monday Oct. 17, 2011. Three thousand employees are taking part in the building of the National Stadium which is replacing the old Mane Garrincha Stadium to accommodate the crowds for the 2014 World Cup. The stadium is expected to seat over 70,000 and will be ready in December 2012. The stadium will also host soccer matches during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. (AP Photo/Eraldo Peres) less
