A visually impaired girl has her fingerprints scanned as part of a registration exercise conducted by the National Register of People (RENAP), at the Santa Lucia elementary school for visually impaired children, in Guatemala City April 30, 2014. According to RENAP, Guatemala citizens are required to register after the age of two. RENAP is taking records of the visually impaired children at the school and aims to register 470 of them, with the help of the Meritorious Committee for the Blind and Deaf of Guatemala by the end of the day.
