Water gushes due to a water main break on Woodward Avenue near Campus Martius in Detroit, on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014. Water gushed early Tuesday morning along Woodward Avenue in the city’s downtown as crews scrambled to repair another massive water main break. The rupture of a 24-inch water main between Congress and Fort, near the city’s Campus Martius Park, could take all day to repair, according to Water and Sewerage Department Deputy Director Darryl Latimer. Multiple buildings in the area do not have water. Latimer said basements of these buildings, including the First National Building, were likely being inundated with water. Crews were working to shut off the main. "There's going to be multiple buildings affected by this," Latimer said. (AP Photo/Detroit News, David Coates) less
