A woman holds a poster with the image of Bishop Juan Gerardi during a demonstration outside the Cathedral in commemoration of the 16th anniversary of his murder, in Guatemala City, April 26, 2014. Gerardi was brutally killed on April 26, 1998, two days after the Recovery of Historical Memory (REMHI) Project, which he had headed, presented a report detailing violations that had been taken against the population during the country's internal armed conflict. Some 200,000 people died in the Guatemala's 1960-1996 civil war, many of them ethnic Maya, and another 45,000 disappeared. The posters read "Forgiveness heals the memory but it does not make it disappear". REUTERS/Jorge Dan Lopez (GUATEMALA - Tags: RELIGION SOCIETY ANNIVERSARY CIVIL UNREST) less
