The world's biggest floating medical vessel, the Chinese Navy MV Peace Ark sails through the Likoni channel on its way to dock at the Mbaraki Wharf Tuesday Oct. 12, 2010 within the Port of Mombasa, Kenya, for a four day visit. The medical staff aboard the ship will provide medical treatment to people in five African and Asian countries - Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, the Seychelles and Bangladesh during its voyage, using its 500 beds and eight operating theatres. In addition, the ship's staff plan to conduct various exchange programs with medical workers in the countries the ship calls at.
