Pic Stitch Collage Maker review

Pic Stitch Collage Maker helps you quickly stitch together up to nine images, giving you the option to choose from over 50 grinds and several aspect ratios. Although it can be useful, it's not as easy to use and intuitive as it could have been and suffers from ads.

Pros

Many templates and aspect ratios: Pic Stitch Collage Maker can come in handy after a picnic, day in the park, trip to the zoo, or any other memorable event in that it allows you to stitch together as many as nine photos in 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 3:2 aspect ratios and keep the collage as a memento.

Powerful image editor: Every time you add a new image to your collage you have a dozen editing options to choose from, including effects, stickers, and frames, as well as plenty of more advanced tools not usually included in collage apps, such as focus, saturation, warmth, and sharpness. From our experience with them, we can say that these editing options and features are solid enough for you to create professional-looking collages.

Cons

Clumsy and ugly: The app lacks the intuitive image manipulation controls of other similar apps and has several clumsy buttons and an ugly grid selection page.

Useless sidebar: Rather than having a functional sidebar with features and options, the app integrates a sidebar promoting certain apps. Through the sidebar you can actually search the Web for images, which are then displayed in the same window, but since you can't drag them into the app or download them, you can't use them for collages.

Ad bombardment: As you use the app you are constantly bombarded by fullscreen ads for other games or apps. You'll get at least two or three before you even finish a collage. There's no way to remove them.

Bottom Line

Pic Stitch Collage Maker gets the job done but could do with accessibility improvements. The ads need to be toned down as well. While this isn't among the best collage apps for Android, it has enough grid options and image editing controls to make it a worthwhile download despite the ads. Whether it will last long on your device is another matter.
