The Steelers took care of the Jets, 19-6, in East Rutherford.
Ben Roethlisberger finished with 264 yards on 23 for 30 passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. For the Jets, Geno Smith could not keep pace, going 19 of 34 with 201 yards passing, no touchdowns and two picks.
Le'Veon Bell had a tough game, rushing for 34 yards on 16 attempts in addition to three receptions for 22 yards. Heath Miller was a top receiver, catching six balls for 84 yards.
The Pittsburgh defense was the difference in the victory, allowing 83 yards rushing and 184 passing. They got to Smith for three sacks.
Finally, Shaun Suisham was perfect, connecting on all four of his field goal attempts.
Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland totaled 59 receiving yards.
Next week, the Steelers are at home against the Ravens (3-3) while the Jets play the Patriots (5-1), also at home.
