Pole barn destroyed by fire in Porter
Dec. 4—Niagara County fire investigators are searching for the cause of a Sunday night barn fire at Dickersonville Road home in Porter.
The fire was called in to county dispatchers about 9:45 p.m. Sunday. A fire chief responding to 3742 Dickersonville Road confirmed a 30-by-40-foot pole barn was fully involved in fire. Two cars, a tractor and fuel were inside the barn.
Members of Ransomville and Youngstown volunteer fire companies extinguished the fire but the barn was believed to be a complete loss. No injuries were reported.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit.
