Man dies after vehicle accident on Keeler Avenue

Wichita Falls Police investigated the scene of a deadly crash Wednesday afternoon.

According to WF police spokesman Sgt. Charlie Eipper:

Officers responded to a pin-in accident in the 1600 block of Keeler Avenue.

They found a dark-colored SUV had left the roadway and struck multiple vehicles before hitting a trailer. The driver, 49-year-old Nathan Austin, of Wichita Falls, was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses told WFPD crash investigators they saw Austin slumped over prior to the accident. Investigators say the crash appeared to have been caused by a medical episode.

The body has been sent for an autopsy and the accident is under investigation. Stay with the Times Record News for the latest information.
