Man found dead on 34h Street in East Tampa Saturday was homicide victim, cops say
TAMPA — Police have determined that a man found dead Saturday afternoon on North 34th Street in East Tampa was the victim of a homicide.
Officers were called about 1:18 p.m. to a report of a person down on 34th Street, between Columbus Drive and East 12th Avenue, police said. They arrived to find a man dead on the ground.
Tampa police said in a news release Monday that the man died from “upper body trauma,” but added no further details, including the man’s name.
