Police responding to reported suspicious substance near Congress: ABC

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Capitol Police are responding to reports of a suspicious substance at one entrance of the Cannon congressional building, the ABC News affiliate in Washington reported on Wednesday.

The southeast entrance to the building near the Capitol and some of the first floor hallways are closed as authorities investigate, WJLA said. Cannon is used by the U.S. House of Representatives.
