SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities displayed weapons and ammo that a gunman had when he was fatally shot by police at Santa Monica College.

Police placed a long revolver and the barrel of a rifle on a table, along with packets of bullets and ammunition magazines Saturday in advance of a news conference.

The gunman killed four people and wounded five others Friday in a rampage that began at his father's house and ended about a mile away when he was killed in the college library.

Sgt. Richard Lewis said Friday that the killer was found with a duffel bag full of ammunition magazines, a revolver and an assault-style rifle.

Police were expected to discuss the evidence and other findings at an afternoon news conference.
