Political Teen Takes Cardboard Cutout of Bernie Sanders to Prom

Bernie Sanders didn’t attend his own prom back in the day, but he did attend this high school senior’s prom last Saturday. Kind of.

Student and Sanders supporter Chloe Raynaud was having trouble finding a real, human prom date, so she did what any teenager would do: bought a life-size cutout of a Vermont senator and took him instead.

“Cheapest prom date ever,” she told Revelist.

It’s clear Raynaud thinks Sanders is the best candidate, but, judging by the photos, looks like cardboard Sanders was also the best prom date.
