PoliWatch: Pro-Bernie Sanders PAC Founder Says the Election is Full of Actors and He's Not Talking About 00-7

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 18, 2015) - The media has created a tremendous amount of buzz about a man who launched a political action committee that was aimed to support the likes of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to run for president in 2016, which later converted into a hybrid PAC that now supports Sanders' run for presidency and the political issues he supports since the official announcement to run for office on April 30.

Cary Lee Peterson (35), a registered Senate lobbyist and chief director for Americans Socially United federal PAC (formerly known as Ready for Bernie Sanders 2016 and Bet on Bernie 2016 before FEC regulations required a name change due to Sanders' presidential candidacy) began supporting Brooklyn native Bernie Sanders a year ago after taking a liking to his views on policy, discovering his support for Veterans Affairs, and his dedication to the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s. Cary Peterson, born to West Indian-American parents and has lived the majority of his life in New York tells PoliWatch that he feels that Sanders is what American 'mainstream' politics is missing, hence post-Obama America will be prepared for a U.S. leader that stands ups for civilian rights of the U.S. Constitution that the majority of the nation has been deprived of for decades.

In a recent article Peterson states that he's merely around 'to help' the movement for Bernie Sanders' road to the presidency and that his dedication, in addition to the growing network or volunteers and followers online and offline should more than justify the authenticity of the PAC's campaign and motives to aid-and-assist the Bernie Sanders for President campaign, even though indirect and not affiliated with Bernie 2016 campaign committee.

Peterson quotes in yesterday's article: "The time is now! This grassroots movement needs to be taken to new heights; Bernie needs to get on the ballot in every state over the next few weeks or the game is over. The Craig donation was a blessing and we put it to good use. We need more supporters like him to win this thing. Sanders uses a super PAC himself to raise money, so don't shoot the messenger. I'm only here to help."

This morning Peterson tells PoliWatch, "This election is filled with actors and I'm not talking about James Bond. You have a man running for president who says he hates PACs, yet has been raising money through one himself the whole time. You have more Republican presidential candidates than ever in history. You have Mr. Donald ["You're Fired"] Trump taking up three-fourths of the media space. You have another candidate who supposedly is using funds from a charitable foundation to finance a presidential campaign. Call the kettle black if you must but I see a theatrical play in motion that makes Broadway look boring. Their spies and flies on the wall ringing my phone... I'm not trying to turn on the lights and air out way more than dirty laundry, traffic ticket, or leaks about a legal dispute they had with an old business buddy in the 80's or 90's."

New to the political scene, coming from a recent history working in civil society and foreign affairs for humanitarian causes Peterson continues in a more frustrated tone by saying, "I didn't bet on Bernie because I wanted to see how much mainstream media hated a black man doing good for America, not out killing people, or contributing to violence. A sacrifice and commitment was made to enable a potential new world leader who has worked longer than I've been alive to protect Americans' constitutional rights. I postponed writing a book, family goals, lobbying other political issues on the Hill that will help urban America, diplomatic affairs I've been involved with for years to help humanity and things that matter on this planet, like climate change."

When asked about the less-than marginal remarks and allegations in recent articles published about the pro-Sanders PAC, Peterson sarcastically comments "President Obama isn't really American, right? Hillary Clinton should go to jail for allegedly sending classified information via Hotmail. Donald Trump is really Grand Wizard for the KKK. I worked for a few companies in my 20s that failed due to bad business associates or bosses, thus had to move on; that's life. I'm nobody famous and not trying to be. A black man walks out of the house, puts his black a** on the line for an old Jewish white man running for president and the haters come out of the woodworks with negative press like I robbed [Bernie Sanders'] his house or raped his grand daughter. I pity what Western media has become."

Besides being a lobbyist on the Hill and running a political committee Peterson works as a director to an international law firm in Micronesia and is responsible for lobbying the movement towards the legalization of medical marijuana and the first medical cannabis program within the Territories of the US to cost effectively help treat people with cancer and severe illnesses. He lives a hectic schedule, what he says can run from 80 to 120 work hours per week, holding two homes, one in the mainland U.S. and another abroad. However, as a single father and traveling all over the world for delegations and lobbying on various political issues (while living from a suitcase more than less) he feels that he's on vacation when he is at home with family, able to be normal, drive his own car, eat dinner at the table, and watch a football game.

Peterson vigorously comments, "Google me. Google up hash tag BETONBERNIE, hash tag VOTEFIREMAN2016, or hash tag SOCIALLYUNITED. Who did that? Nearly two million in a pro-Sanders social media network; [a year ago] who started that? Only a complete derelict would sit there and tell me I'm trying to burn 00-7 or run some bogus campaign."

Closing in a more candid tone and cheeky mannerism Peterson states, "Bloggers publishing about who I shook hands with ten years ago doesn't spook me. Libel and slander only work on some people [who have things to hide] but it can backfire on you if you try it with the wrong person. I've done more good than bad things than a pool of media fools can make up. This election will come and go and so will the actors who appear to be running their last marathon. I love what Bernie [Sanders] has done for America. Hopefully we see him in the General Election. Neither Trump or Sanders bite their tongue and I only pray Americans who support either candidate get up and go out to register to vote and sign the ballot petition for who they want to see in the Primary Election."
