The website will feature in-depth articles, consumer feedback and other tools to help consumers and business professionals find the portable scanner that best suits their needs, as well as their budget. Popular brands of portable scanners reviewed include Brother, Magic Wand and Neat Receipts.

    "Technology is always improving," commented Kay. "And every day, something new comes out. However, that something new might not always be better and the consumer needs to know before they purchase. Alternately, a portable scanner that doesn't get a lot of media attention or advertising might be the ideal product for what a person is searching for.
