Premiere: Damian Lillard, Kevin Love & “The Hoopers” Are “Droppin’ Dimes” With State Farm In Hilarious New Video

Baby Dame Dolla is spittin' bars in the name of the almight assist.

Just when you thought The Hoopers couldn’t get any more entertaining, the all-star family shows off its music video prowess with “Droppin’ Dimes.” Featuring Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard and Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love, the new State Farm-inspired rap song pays tribute to the almighty assist – both on and off the court. Lillard, who transforms into in his hip-hop alter ego, “Baby Dame Dolla,” spits bars about dropping dimes everywhere, from coast-to-coast, to his teddy bears. Love, offers an assist of his own as his teen brother for the iced-out, dime-filled (literally) visuals.

Created by ad agency Translation, the “Droppin’ Dimes” video also stars the rest of the Hoopers family: 15-time NBA All-Star Kevin Garnett as “Grampa,” and Los Angeles Clippers teammates Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan as “Dad” and “Mom.” Their good neighbor, Kevin the State Farm Agent, also makes it rain dimes in the two-minute display of hilarity, showing off his own knack for a good assist when necessary.
