If you’ve been listening to Future and Young Thug all week, “The Trip” is a nice break from heavy beats and dark content. The song features a breezy guitar, uplifting lyrics, and overall good vibes. It feels a little vintage and a little raw, but that’s all part of the charm.

“‘The Trip’ represents my journey to accepting and sharing love,” Cawl Sted explains. “It’s okay to be vulnerable it’s okay to love! I just want you to smile when you hear this!”

Cawl Sted is an independent artist from Maryland, and “The Trip” is his first release of 2016. He’s currently working on a project called My Story & I’m Sticking To It. More music coming soon.
