    PriceKubecka Names Jon Gwynn as Director of Audit and David Hill as Tax Manager

    New Hires Help Expand Audit and Tax Expertise within the Firm

    Addison, Texas (PRWEB) January 18, 2012

    Today, PriceKubecka, a Dallas-based, full-service CPA firm, announces the addition of two key positions within the firm. The new hires include Jon Gwynn, who joins PriceKubecka as Director of Audit, and David Hill, who was appointed Tax Manager in the Taxation Department.

    “PriceKubecka is excited to welcome Jon and David to the team,” said PriceKubecka Founding Partner Brian Price. “Their backgrounds and industry experience will be valuable assets to our organization as we continue to grow our services and reach.”

    As the firm’s Director of Audit, Jon Gwynn will be responsible for business development and staff management for the Audit Group. He will also manage the delivery of services to the firm’s audit, review and compilation clients.

    Gwynn brings more than 11 years of public accounting experience to PriceKubecka. His primary industries include oil and gas exploration and production, oilfield services, technology manufacturing, software, restaurant and entertainment sectors. Beginning his career at Arthur Andersen LLP, Gwynn has extensive experience working with privately held and publicly traded companies. He is a CPA and belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Currently, Gwynn serves as the Programs Committee Chair for the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) of Dallas as well as the Finance Director of the Finance Forum. Gwynn received a BS in Accounting and an MS in Accounting from the University of Alabama.

    David Hill joins the firm as Tax Manager in the Taxation Department. In his new role, Hill will be responsible for corporate, partnership, estate and trust tax compliance, as well as tax planning and research, reviewing tax work of junior tax accountants and current tax law compliance.

    Hill brings more than four years of public accounting experience to PriceKubecka. His primary industries include oil and gas, automotive, investment partnerships and estate/trust. Hill began his career at CF & CO., LLP and has experience working with privately held companies. Hill is a CPA, belonging to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He received his BS in accounting from Texas Tech University.
