    (함부르크, 독일 2012년 10월 29일 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) 국제적인 스마트 TV 공급업체 NetRange가 스포츠 권리 대행사 Sportfive와 협력하여 스마트 TV에서 2014년 월드컵 예선경기를 중계할 수 있는 국제 독점권을 확보했다. 그에 따라 지금부터 바로 유럽 국가 대표팀들 사이에서 펼쳐지는 140개가 넘는 경기를 "Qualifiers 2014" 앱을 통해 중계할 수 있게 됐다. 모든 경기는 차후 온디맨드로 제공될 예정이다. 유럽 예선경기 중 총 50%가 스마트 TV로 중계될 전망이다.

    그 50% 경기 중에는 아르메니아, 아제르바이잔, 벨라루스, 벨기에, 보스니아, 불가리아, 크로아티아, 체코 공화국, 덴마크, 에스토니아, 핀란드, 프랑스, 조지아, 그리스, 헝가리, 이탈리아, 라트비아, 리투아니아, 마케도니아, 몰도바, 북아일랜드, 노르웨이, 폴란드, 포르투갈, 루마니아, 러시아, 스코틀랜드, 세르비아, 슬로바키아, 터기, 우크라이나 및 웨일스 경기는 물론, 현 유럽과 세계 챔피언 스페인 경기도 포함된다.

    "Qualifiers 2014" 앱은 Loewe, Sharp, Thomson 및 Ikea와 같은 제조업체를 통해 스마트 TV 포털이나 NetRange 포탈이 구축된 다른 모든 접속 TV 장치에서 구할 수 있다.

    NetRange to Broadcast European World Cup Qualifiers on Smart TV

    -- Exclusive global exploitation rights secured for Smart TV - 140 matches live, on-demand and highlights

    HAMBURG, Germany, October 29, 2012/PRNewswire/ -- Global Smart TV provider NetRange, in cooperation with sports rights agency Sportfive, has secured the exclusive global rights to broadcast qualifying matches for the 2014 football World Cup live on Smart TV. Effective immediately, over 140 meetings between the European national teams will be broadcast via the "Qualifiers 2014" app. All matches will subsequently be available on-demand. In total, fifty percent of European qualifying matches will be broadcast via Smart TV.

    These include matches involving Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and Wales, as well as those involving the current European and World Champions, Spain.

    The "Qualifiers 2014" app is available on the Smart TV portals from the manufacturers Loewe, Sharp, Thomson and Ikea, as well as on all other connected TV devices equipped with NetRange portals.
