    PromGirl.com, NEXT Model Management, and Bakers announce the launch of the second international “Are You The Next PromGirl?” model search. Set to align with prom season, the search launched January 2nd and runs through April 30th, with two lucky winners to receive a dream prize package from PromGirl.com, NEXT and Bakers. Additionally, weekly winners will be chosen at random from all entrants to receive a $250 gift card to PromGirl.com and a pair of shoes from Bakers.

    “We are delighted to host our model search for the second year with NEXT and are thrilled to bring on Bakers as a partner,” says David Wilkenfeld, President of PromGirl.com. “The Next PromGirl Model Search is extending an opportunity to girls all over the world to put their faces in front of top industry scouts.     In addition to entering the contest directly through the official website, NEXT modeling scouts will host events at select Bakers store locations throughout the duration of the search to meet prospects in person. “We’re excited to be a part of such an exciting and unique opportunity,” says Stacy McDonough of Bakers. “It will add excitement in our stores and we look forward to participating in the international model search.”

    Industry executives at NEXT will review all entries and select ten finalists based on overall appearance and photogenic qualities. Each finalist will create a short video explaining why she should be "The Next PromGirl". The videos will then be posted to the official website (areyouthenextpromgirl.com) and put to a public vote. After two weeks of public voting, the two girls with the highest combined scores (public votes 33%, judges’ votes 67%) will be crowned the winners. The prize package includes a standard modeling contract with NEXT, an all-expense paid trip to NYC with chaperone, one prom photo shoot featured on PromGirl.com, one fashion photo shoot, a $500 gift card to PromGirl.com, a $300 gift card to Bakers and a professional style consultation.
