PS4 Finally Gets YouTube App

The YouTube app for PlayStation 4 has finally arrived.

Introduced through the PS4's 2.0 update, the YouTube app (available to download today for free in the PlayStation Store) allows users to upload their gameplay directly to the video site.

It works in exactly the same manner as the existing Facebook sharing process: press the share button, edit a clip, give it a title and description, and uploading will commence.

The YouTube app also lets you watch all your favorite videos in up to 1080p resolution and discover new ones. Speaking of great YouTube videos, have you seen This Machine Destroys Everything?

The app also features YouTube's latest design that optimizes the experience for watching on a big-screen TV. YouTube apps are already available on Xbox One and Wii U.
