Pumped for Scandal's Return Tonight? Go Behind-the-Scenes with the Cast Today!

It feels like forever since we were last invited into the White House to keep tabs on Scandal's on- and off-again couple Olivia Pope ( Kerry Washington) and President Fitz ( Tony Goldwyn).

And while we've drowned our sorrows in popcorn and red wine since Scandal's midseason break in November, we can't help but be ridiculously thrilled about the show's return tonight, which promises a six-month time jump.

To prepare us for such an event, Goldwyn (a.k.a. Shondaland's commander-in-chief) has been giving Scandal fans an inside look at the cast's press tour and prep work today – which includes a Good Morning America visit to his show's set as well as a table read – via PEOPLE's Instagram account.
