On the Season 2 premiere of "Push Girls" earlier this month, Auti Angel and her husband, DJ Eric "Stretch Boogie" Rivera, were having trouble in their relationship. But, it appears things are going well now - in fact, they're trying to have a baby.
"My husband and I are practicing regularly," Auti laughed, as she visited Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday. "We're hoping that it'll happen naturally. And if not, we'll take other courses."
While Auti and Eric are working on getting pregnant, they are getting in some parenting practice with a new addition to the family - a puppy named Robin.
"This is our new edition to our family. Her name is Robin so now we have Batgirl and Robin," Auti said of the couple's pets. "So it was a process because we wanna have children. I'm 43 years old getting ready to have a baby and I'm like, 'I need some practice so why not start with a puppy?' And let me tell you, that's some serious practice... It gets pretty crazy. I'm like rolling around chasing her. "
As for the marital problems documented on Sundance Channel's "Push Girls," Auti explained they cropped up because she wasn't being respectful of their relationship on a night out.
"I acted out of character when I was out of town," Auti said.
"I was out on the dance floor and just dancing not like a married woman," Auti explained of what she did that she felt was inappropriate.
But, Auti said she is learning what is and isn't all right.
"He says I'm a flirt and I can tend to be a flirt 'cause I'm very outgoing and I'm such a big personality, as you see on the show, that... sometimes it's a little overwhelming for a marriage, so I have to learn how to tone it down and find my family values," Auti said.
"Push Girls" airs Mondays at 10 PM on Sundance Channel.
