A few facts about Jerusalem:

- Under Jordanian rule, the ancient Jewish Quarter was emptied and literally, turned into a garbage dump.
- During Jordanian rule, Jewish and Christian holy places were left to deteriorate.
- Under Jordanian rule, Jews were forbidden from entering East Jerusalem; even to pray at Judaism's most holy site.
- After the unification of the city, Israel extended voting rights to all of Jerusalem's citizens, a first for Arab women.
- After unification, Israel restored the Jewish Quarter as well as Christian holy sites and allowed free access to all religious groups.
- Under Israeli rule, each religious group has autonomy over their religious sites.
- Immediately after unification the Eastern sector was finally given access to plumbing, electricity, and regular trash pickup.
- Islam's first two holy cities are off limits to non-Muslims.

After 1500 years of Muslim rule, any claims that the Muslims have to Jerusalem are gone. They ruled it for a long time and it became a stinkhole city. Now that the Jews made it nice, they want a piece of it. They don't deserve it.

Won't people listen to reason? You know that Israels, copper age, fictitious God sent Moses followers into Cannon to kill the people that lived there and take that land for themselves. Palestinians know the Jews lived in the Middle East for a long time, and that the Jews formed nation states and were forced to leave. Inability to understand the other side keeps Palestinians in constant state of rage.
There must be a few among them who can persuade the rest to think like people instead of raging like territorial animals.

There was no such thing as a ‘Palestinian people’ so nobody could feasibly come and take from them what they did not have.
The Arabs attempted the ‘throwing Jews out’ because, they have an abiding and theologically lawful hatred for Jews.
They ignored the wishes of the UN and went to war, making the principle mistake one should never make when contemplating such a course ;
Underestimating the fighting prowess of those who have stopped running, have come home, and have nowhere else to go to.

Abbas also states that the jews had no historical claim to Jerusalem negating all archaeological finds in the city. When did a palestinian state exist? Where was it's capital? Where were it's borders demarcated? Who was it's president, king or prime minister? What kind of gov't did they have? What did their currency look like? Can someone answer that?
