Rain showers around tri-state, temperatures drop

NEW YORK (PIX11)—Temperatures dropped by about 10 degrees Sunday, and rain fell throughout the day in New York City.

Sunday saw a high of 55 degrees, dropping from highs in the 60s Saturday.

Monday is expected to be cloudy, with temperatures expected to hit a high of 71 degrees.

Tuesday will offer a brief reprieve from the showers with a high of 78 degrees, but wet weather will return later in the week. Temperatures will peak Wednesday with a high of 81 degrees, but Tuesday and Wednesday will also be quite humid.

Temperatures will then drop down to the high-60s by Thursday, with more showers expected by Friday.
