'Rain Or Shine, He Is Out Delivering': Lake Elsinore Hero

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Sherry Torres of Lake Elsinore, who nominated her husband, Luis Villavicencio, also of Lake Elsinore:

Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
Mail Man USPS

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:

My husband Has not stopped working since this Coronavirus Pandemic started. He has not missed a single day of work. My husband works for USPS, and he is being very careful delivering. But it still scares us that he is out exposing himself to this virus.

I am so proud of his work ethic and long hours of serving the public fulfilling essential needs. Rain or shine he is out delivering for over 10 hours a day. Thank you to all the essential workers out there!

Thank you for all you do, Luis!
