    Raven Internet Marketing Tools Debuts a Free Google Analytics Configuration Tool

    Raven Internet Marketing Tools has developed and released a free, simple tool to generate accurate Google Analytics code for any website.

    Raven created the free Google Analytics Configuration Tool (GAConfig.com) to help marketers save time and take the guesswork out of getting the right Google Analytics code. Although information on setting up Google Analytics is available online, it can be outdated, inconsistent or confusing.

    “With the wrong code, you can miss important data that would have helped you make decisions for better conversions or sales online,” said Taylor Pratt, Raven's vice president of marketing and the originator of the Google Analytics Configuration Tool. “That’s what makes GAConfig.com so valuable. It simplifies what can be very confusing for marketers who want useful data but don't want to spend every day with their analytics.”

    Users can find support for 17 configurations, ranging from code for one domain with subdomains to 404 tracking to site search to event tracking. Raven has plans for additional configurations. LunaMetrics, a Google Analytics Certified Partner, helped test each variation of the code for the tool.

    “Getting the right tracking code to put on web pages can be a mystery—especially if anything remotely advanced is needed, like cross domain tracking,” said Jim Gianoglio, manager of insight at LunaMetrics. “This tool makes it easy to get the right code, with step-by-step instructions and examples. No more hunting for the code and hoping it's right.”

    Security and privacy are not issues with GAConfig.com. The site does not store any data or require the creation of an account.
