    "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Adrienne Maloof and husband Paul Nassif are splitting, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

    The couple, who has been married for nine years, are going their separate ways, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split

    According to documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, Nassif is asking for joint legal custody of their children - Gavin, 9, and the twins Colin and Christian, 6 - and that that each pay their own legal fees.

    Maloof - the daughter of billionaire George J. Maloof Sr. - spoke about the split to Radar Online.

    "I'm so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what's best for them," the Bravo star said.

    Adding, "It's an unfortunate situation but, I have to have my kids' best interest at heart."
