Advocates for stricter federal laws on gun control faced setbacks this month, as the toughest bill yet on the issue died in the Democrat-controlled Senate, despite support from the president. Gun control came back under the national political microscope in 2012 and the first half of 2013, following several well-publicized shooting massacres. Despite the reemergence of the issue and comments from leaders at times that brought public degradation, gun rights advocates continue to hold off their opponents. Perhaps this could be because they have the facts on their side.
Glenn Beck's new book, "Control: Exposing the Truth About Guns," presents a fact-based case for guns, debunking lies and common myths about guns and gun owners. Glenn Beck joined 'Real News" Tuesday to discuss the book and challenges second amendment defenders can face at the workplace and in their private lives.
