    Red Banyan Group Supports Local Charities in 2011 and Gives Back Through Pro Bono Practice

In addition to providing financial backing to local organizations doing great work that improves the lives of their neighbors, Red Banyan Group also established a pro bono practice in 2011 and used it to deliver free public relations services to deserving groups.

    Red Banyan Group, considered among the best South Florida public relations firms, is proud to have been a strong supporter of a range of charitable endeavors during 2011. In addition to providing financial backing to local organizations doing great work that improves the lives of their neighbors, Red Banyan Group also established a pro bono practice in 2011 and used it to deliver free public relations services to deserving groups.

    In the weeks running up to Christmas, Red Banyan Group teamed up with local law firm Cathy Lerman, PA to purchase and distribute toys to the children receiving treatment at the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Earlier in 2011, a charitable contribution from Red Banyan Group made it possible for SandalCandy, a luxury footwear company that contributes a portion of its profits to organizations and charities assisting kids with autism and cerebral palsy, to create custom flip-flops for the kids at Chris Evert. Red Banyan Group founder Evan Nierman visited the hospital and was deeply touched by the smiles that the unexpected gifts brought to the faces of the young patients.

    In November, Red Banyan Group decided to become a sponsor of the community garden at the Parkland YMCA Family Center. The Parkland Y has plans to develop the garden into a community learning lab where children will be educated about nutrition, healthy eating habits and the many benefits of an active lifestyle.

    Red Banyan Group’s pro bono practice was proud to have helped publicize events in 2011 that raised money for the Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society and a foundation for a young girl diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that spread to her brain, lymph nodes and lungs.
