Refueling problem causes delays at Oslo Airport

OSLO, Norway (AP) — Norwegian aviation officials are warning of delays and cancellations of dozens of aircraft at Oslo Airport caused by a malfunction in the refueling system.

Airport spokesman Vegar Gystad says all flights from Oslo after 5 p.m. (1500 GMT) Tuesday have been affected by the electronic fault in the fuel pumping system.

Gystad said that it is unclear how soon the malfunction would be repaired.

He said that several arrivals had been directed to other airports to refuel and that officials were negotiating with airlines about alternative routes.
