In 1993, the King of Pop lit up the Super Bowl halftime stage for one of his most iconic performances ever.

In 1993’s match up between the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills, fans packed the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif., to see the NFC and AFC defending champions go head-to-head for Super Bowl XXVII.

And while Buffalo Bills fan left the stadium with an epic frownie faces due to the 52-17 loss, the brief bit of happiness experienced took place when the King of Pop graced the Super Bowl halftime stage.

For 13 exhilarating minutes, (three of which he stood completely still looking to the left of the stadium and then dramatically turning his head to the right, causing attendees to faint from pure awesomeness) Michael Jackson tore down the Super Bowl stage.
