Repair shop destroyed by fire in Leoti

LEOTI, Kan. (KSNW) — A large repair shop building in Wichita County was destroyed by fire Sunday.

The Scott County Emergency Management Office says their fire crews responded to provide mutual aid for the Leoti Volunteer Fire Department shortly before 8 a.m. The fire happened at Price Repair, located at 101 S. Waters in Leoti.

Two teens killed in Saline County crash, possibly drag racing

The fire caused significant damage to the building and destroyed at least one semi-truck that was parked inside. Leoti and Scott County Emergency Managers could not comment about the fire.

Both confirmed the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
