Report: Congressman Denied Access into Afghanistan

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., a fierce critic of the Afghan government, has been denied access into Afghanistan, the BBC reports.

On Friday, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee was stopped in Dubai and denied a visa into Afghanistan. He was leading a delegation to Kabul. Rohrabacher has frequently pointed out the corruption in the Afghan government.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly conveyed the message from Afghan President Hamid Karzai that the congressman would not be let in.
