Demi Moore Seeking Treament For Health, Exhaustion

Demi Moore is reportedly seeking treatment for her health and exhaustion issues, according to multiple reports by People and TMZ.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," a rep for Moore reportedly told both People and TMZ in a statement. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

Just because Demi Moore has money and it appears that she has "everything," does not mean she is happy. She could have anorexia, which is a serious problem and she may not have a drug or alcohol problem. Probably she is depressed, but hopefully she'll find her mental and physical strength before it's too late.

If she is "exhausted" why does she not just go to sleep in her home? She is not poor or ugly, so why all the drama? She is not the first person to get divorced. This "exhaustion" word is just a cover for anorexia + ambien = will Ashton come back?

Getting old in Hollywood has to be among the highest stress inducers there is for a female star. She needs to relax, gain some perspective, put on some weight, and remember we only get one shot here before we go to The Great Perhaps.

Tell the truth. Exhaustion is Hollywood's code word for mental illness. Serious athletes experience exhaustion. Construction workers experience exhaustion. Navy Seals experience exhaustion. But an actor, come on. It is called a nervous break down, anxiety attack, severe depression, manic episode or psychotic break. I wish the media would call a spade a spade. Using euphemisms like exhaustion only maintain the shame and stigma around mental illness. This shame and stigma stops people from being comfortable seeking the help they really need.

Is ""exhaustion really a diagnosis"? I mean, I have two children, work full time and don't stop until I crash in my bed at night. Like most adults, I am exhausted every day of my life. I don't get rushed to the hospital like all these Hollywood big wigs. Stop using exhaustion as a diagnosis. It minimizes all of us hard-working Americans!.

Only rich people check themselves into the hospital for "exhaustion". Farmers and other everyday people just go back to work the next day.

I feel very bad for Demi but, she has to realize, when you marry a kid, you can't expect it to last. No matter if you are young or old. She has so much to offer, she's a great actress and beautiful to boot. I know she will get back to herself and be fine.

what happned to her is the same thing that happned to Heather L. these women think that are going to be young and beautiful and in demand forever. sorry ladies, it doesnt work that way. They cannot acept the fact that those days are over and this is the way they cope.........drugs and booze! every women in show business has to have a plan B for when it is all over.........

I truly feel for Demi-she's had it all for a long time. Figure, fame, fortune. The problem is that she hasn't yet-possibly, but probably not-gotten that thin does not equal happy. She has said that she now has the body she always wanted. Sad. Anorexia is no joke. People convince themselves that they are healthy at a skeletal weight. And people die from it. Remember Karen Carpenter? You can tell that This is Demi's mindset-just look at her Red Carpet photos. She is dressing that too thin body in clothes that Accentuate how thin she is. Instead of wearing clothes that might hide it just a bit-she is flaunting it. This tells you that she "thinks" that she looks really good-possibly even great. Let's hope that the hospital visit encourages her to seek treatment. Lose the Red Bull's Demi and start working on your mind and body. I've enjoyed your career and hope you get better, but I don't like the body image you are selling to the public right now. Curves are In-and you use to have some great ones! Get healthy.

wow, most of the comments here are extremely harsh. No matter how rich you are, people still have emotions and break ups are one of the hardest things to deal with. Maybe some of you will have a little more empathy when you experience a life crisis or someone you care about does.

Is she in a 2 bed room?? Locklear will be along before you know it and if they share a room, meds, nurses, and doctors, maybe they'll get a discount...
