Report: Police went undercover to watch Occupy LA

This is news? If you didn't already know this happens at every major and even many minor protests in this country than you live in a box.

Why don't you go undercover in methico to stop the invasion of illegals, and hardened criminal gangs with drugs to take over street gangs in USA!!!

I am pretty sure there are other people who go to Occupy movements to cause trouble and make them look bad.

If it was not for those darn camera phones, electronic tablets and camcorders they would get away with it almost every time. Sensationalism sells. Electronic devices tell ...the truth..

If the constitution clearly says that no law should be enacted that prevents the right to peaceable assemble than how could there be an unlawful assembly when all these people are doing is sitting there peacefully?

Gang murder and activity on the rise, bank robberies, home invasions, car thefts.....but where does the LAPD put it's intel at, the Occupy Movement......now that's a real responsible use of taxpayer money and resources.........

Some of the commenters here might want to take a short break, go get their dictionary, and look up the difference between 'right to assemble' and camping out in public parks. They may be surprised that there is a big difference.

More taxpayers money spent for nothing! Wer'e never going to recover from this recession, or depression as long as this Government is in office.

they found the protesters advocating roads and highways, the postal system, public schools, libraries, police and fire departments, the American military. Highly dangerous socialists!

People should be aware of the current Defense Bill in the senate S 1876 that gives the President the authority to use the military to arrest and indefinatly detain any US civilian without cause or warrant. A few days ago, Democrats voted 60 to 38 against an amendment that would have prevented US citizens from this. If you think I am making it up go to the US Senate webpage and see for yourself.
Sooner or later when this vote passes, we will be living in a dictatorship every bit as sinister as Nazi Germany.
OWS and right wing activists, when the Government has had enough of you, you can all be placed into camps with NO SAY, no warning, no judge, no charges, no nothing. It's called "American Revolutionary War II", coming soon to a street near you!!!

Not a surprise. LA cops infiltrated a peaceful march the day after Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. We followed them back to the police station after the march was over. LOL
