Report: Terrelle Pryor works out for Buccaneers

With Josh McCown's health status up in the air, the Buccaneers decided to bring in quarterback Terrelle Pryor for a workout on Monday, according to ESPN.com.

The Buccaneers only have one healthy quarterback on the active roster now because McCown injured his thumb in Tampa Bay's 56-14 loss to Atlanta on Thursday.

McCown is expected to be out for a few weeks, but he is going to get a second opinion on the thumb before the decision to miss a few weeks becomes final, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora.

As for Pryor, he's been a free agent since Aug. 29 when he was cut by the Seahawks. Pryor was traded to Seattle in April after spending the first first three seasons of his career in Oakland. Pryor started 10 games in his Raiders career and went 3-7 in those starts.

If the Buccaneers decide not to add Pryor, they also have Mike Kafka on the practice squad.
