CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire's Department of Resources and Economic Development says small businesses that export their products or exploring that option may be eligible for a grant that will pay for market research.
The cost of these services is typically $500 to $750, which will be covered by the grant and at no risk to the business. It's available through the U.S. Commercial Services.
The market research will scope out potential countries, providing information to see if a business' product will be competitive and attractive to customers. The grant also will pay for background checks on potential clients of New Hampshire businesses within a particular country.
Orders for the services must by placed by mid-September.
